Turning students into citizens.
Odyssey Social Studies presents history, society, politics, and government in a seamless narrative that teaches students the complex ways in which people and nations interact.
Odyssey Social Studies: Grades 6–8
Our social studies programs for grades 6–8 increase student comprehension of key concepts with interactive maps, charts, graphs, quotations, and dialogue. They give students supplemental opportunities to study topics such as world history, U.S. history, government, culture, geography, economics, and current events.
Odyssey High School Social Studies: Grades 9–12
The Odyssey social studies courses for high school emphasize relating social studies concepts to the real world to give students perspective and understanding of the world they’re about to enter as adults. These courses include opportunities for writing assignments in which students work on higher-level thinking skills, including synthesis and analysis.
