Austin, TX (September 23, 2009) – CompassLearning announced today that it has been awarded an unprecedented three Education Software Review (EDDIE) awards by the ComputED Learning Center. The EDDIE awards target innovative, content-rich programs and websites that use technology to give parents and teachers the tools they need to help students achieve. CompassLearning emerged from this year’s competition with awards in the Middle School Math Intervention, High School Science, and High School Multi-Subject categories.
EDDIE awards place a premium on tools that augment classroom curriculum and improve teacher productivity. Winners are selected from titles submitted by software publishers around the world, and this year the judges chose to feature exclusively CompassLearning solutions in their Awards Showcase. The three winning CompassLearning solutions were Odyssey High School, Odyssey High School Science, and Odyssey Math Intervention 5-6. “All offer an exceptional instructional management system and curriculum, complete with comprehensive assessment and broad-based reporting tools,” reported EDDIE Award staff.
